Privacy notice
Controller and scope
Media Trend Suisse Sagl, Via Pretorio 11, 6900 Lugano, Switzerland, operates the MTS Marketing, Promoter, Academy and Blog websites. For privacy requests use the protected contact form and identify your request as a data-protection enquiry. This notice covers website visits, enquiries, Academy accounts, learning activity and optional newsletter subscriptions. Swiss data protection law (FADP/LPD) applies; GDPR applies where its territorial conditions are met.
What we process and why
We process information you provide in enquiries (name, email and message) to respond and discuss a potential service. Academy uses name, email, a password hash, account status, email-verification events and learning progress to provide controlled access. Passwords are not stored in readable form. Necessary processing is based on pre-contractual or contractual steps, legal duties and proportionate security interests as applicable, not a blanket marketing consent.
Newsletter: separate choice
Course registration does not require a newsletter subscription. An unchecked optional box requests subscription; a separate email confirmation activates it. We record the request, confirmation, policy version and any withdrawal. You can withdraw in your Academy account or through the protected contact form without losing course access. No marketing messages should be sent to unconfirmed or withdrawn addresses.
Cookies and security
Only technical cookies are enabled by this application: contact security, Academy login and storage of privacy choices. There are no advertising pixels or audience-measurement trackers in the application. Replit/Google infrastructure may set its own technical cookie, such as GAESA. The interactive course stores answers in your account; language selection uses explicit links rather than an advertising profile. See the cookie notice for details.
Recipients and international processing
Hosting, application database and media infrastructure are provided through Replit and its infrastructure providers, including Google Cloud. Transactional email uses the configured Hoststar SMTP service. Hosting is not represented as being exclusively in Switzerland or the EEA. International processing and provider access may occur; applicable contractual safeguards and provider agreements must be maintained by the controller. We do not sell website or learning data.
Retention and deletion
Academy sessions last at most 12 hours and expire after 2 hours of inactivity. Verification links expire after 24 hours and password-reset links after 1 hour. Unactivated accounts without a confirmed newsletter subscription may be removed after 90 days. Active account and study data are kept for provision of access until account deletion or closure of the service, subject to legal obligations. Enquiry correspondence should be reviewed and deleted when no longer necessary; the controller manages mailbox retention. Technical rate-limit records expire and are purged during normal maintenance.
Your choices and rights
Depending on the applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to processing, and withdraw consent for the future. Academy provides account-data export and deletion; administrators must use the protected contact channel for account closure. Identity verification may be necessary. You may contact the Swiss FDPIC or, where applicable, your competent EU/EEA supervisory authority. Refusing optional marketing does not block the website or course.
Operational responsibility
The controller must keep processor agreements, international-transfer safeguards, actual retention and any future tracking consistent with this notice. Adding analytics, advertising pixels or external embeds requires a new assessment and, where required, prior consent before loading them. A notice or banner alone does not certify compliance. This page is not a substitute for case-specific legal advice.
